FAQ

What if we just want you to develop something for us?

We have taken the stance that we will not go into development without going through our RockPaperScissors first. We are not a ‘dev shop’ and your product will be stronger because of it.

How much does it cost & what are the payment terms?

It depends on the complexity of the project and the pre-agreed variations of the output, but as a guideline between £10k and £12k. We charge 50% of the fee up-front, and the remaining 50% on completion.

How is my idea protected?

We sign an NDA with you before we start. The idea remains your property, and you can take it where you like. There is no obligation to go through development with us. We just ask that you are sensitive to our process and methodologies with our competition.

I’m not based in london, cape town or amsterdam. Can I still engage you for rockpaperscissors?

Yes! We have many international clients. Although it is a very collaborative process, we manage this with clear project timelines, milestones and feedback sessions. We love Zoom, Hangouts, Miro, Teams & even good old Skype.

Great. When and how do we begin?

We always begin with a 2 hour kick-off workshop involving all the stake holders to make sure that we’re all on the same page. We typically run 2 or 3 RockPaperScissors projects in the studio at a time. They last between 4 to 6 weeks each. The earlier you commit, the better.
